RAISING AWARENESS AND FUNDING ADOPTIONS

Pure and undefined religion in the sight of God is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress -James 1:27

Empowering a grassroots adoption movement to bring justice and dignity to vulnerable children

As a resource hub and arts center, the Orphan Justice Center (OJC) serves to inform, inspire, and empower grassroots adoption movements within Church communities nationwide.

OJC’s monthly sponsorship subscription aims to fully fund one child’s adoption every month.

Founded in 2007 by Reneé and Derek Loux, the Orphan Justice Center exists to raise awareness and funding for adoption.

There are over 500,000 children in the foster care system in the United States alone. If 7% of Christian families adopt one child, every child can be placed in a home.

Our mission is to fund these adoptions and inspire the rest of the Church to walk out James 1:27 and come alongside these brave families that choose to adopt.

Over the last 12 years, OJC has come along side over 200 families and been a part of over 660 adoptions.

The Orphan Justice Center began with one family who adopted 12 children over the span of 12 years.

In 2007, before his death, Derek and Renee started OJC as a non-profit organization to help families adopt and restore orphans. Since that time, OJC  has brought awareness to the crisis of fatherlessness, encouraged believers to adopt, and embodied the James 1:27 mandate to care for the orphan and the widow.
